Background

Packaging labels are used on almost every product, both retail and wholesale. Packaging labels have other uses too, such as being used for identification, inventory control and regulatory compliance. Special use packaging labels include serial number plates, instruction labels, shipping labels, and barcode labels. Labels attached to (or an integral part of) the package might also be used to help resist or expose tampering or pilferage.
