Applications

Timber

  • Chipboard or MDF
  • Pallet blocks
  • Planed timber
  • Sawn timber

Background

Timber processors or furniture manufacturers often have to signify compliance with quality, environmental and technical standards. This, as well as the drive for more automated processes, means that timber often has to be marked in some way. These marks have the added benefit of improving tracking through these automated processes.

Typical applications

  • Barcodes applied directly onto the surface of a chipboard or MDF panel in a furniture manufacturing plant: Thermal Inkjet
  • Printing proprietary customer information directly onto pallet blocks: Thermal Inkjet
  • Printing stress grade and timber length onto planed timber: Thermal Inkjet
  • Printing quality compliance logos directly onto sawn timber: Thermal Inkjet
