BACKGROUND
When one of Eastern Europe’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturers needed a Hot Foil coder fitted to a second-hand labeller they were buying from a London-based company,
WHAT ROTECH DID
Rotech were able survey the machine, build the custom frame and install their Coder 60 printer all within one week.
The custom frame allows the print position to be moved to any point on the label and the new magazine is both ergonomic and allows quick and easy loading of the foil.
The requirement to print at the base of the labels which themselves ran very close to the machine bed, was addressed using a special version of the
Coder 60 with an offset typeholder.
OUTCOME
Equipped with Rotech hardened steel and hot foil tape, the unit produces the highest quality of code.
