BACKGROUND

Chinese Chef supply ready-made meals was having problems printing a use-by date on a bag pouch. The pouch would be subjected to boiling and freezing.

WHAT ROTECH DID

We studied the problem and then modified an off-line semi-automatic hot foil printer to meet the chef’s specific requirements. This involved the automatic detection of the bag and selection of the correct grade of hot foil tape and machine settings to ensure the print would withstand the temperature extremes.

OUTCOME

The modified machine worked well, and the Chinese Chef’s comment to Rotech: “The company's after sales service and communication were found faultless. Rotech is the type of company that is a pleasure to do business with." They also recommended us to other companies.
