By printing directly on to the box rather than a label, you could save up to 90% of your running costs..
Join us for the virtual launch of our Seiko, large area printers
On Wednesday, 10th June at 10am we will be showcasing our new printers, the Rotech Seiko X72 and the Rotech Seiko PP108 – both of which employ the latest Seiko printhead technology to offer reliable, high-quality printing on to secondary packaging, removing the need for print-and-apply labelling systems.
The new range of Seiko large areas printers expands the Rotech printer range in more ways than one, as print areas up to 108mm can now be printed with a single printhead.
Printing onto porous surfaces such as cardboard boxes or a paper surface can now be carried out using either the Rotech range of TIJ printers for shorter print heights – typically up to 50mm – or the Rotech range of Seiko printers for print heights of up to 72mm or 108mm using a single printhead.
With a print resolution of up to 360 dpi a verifiable bar code can be printed on to a brown box, meaning that the need for the application of a printed label can be eliminated, providing substantial cost savings.
This new range of printers are easy integrate with existing production lines and can also be fitted to a Rotech offline feeding system.
